Day 01: Gangtey Gompa – Gogona
A moderate trail leads through meadows and fields, and then ascends to the Tselela pass through mixed forests of Juniper, bamboo, Magnolia and rhododendron. Then people of Gogona speak a language called henked which literally translated would mean the earliest language. Overnight in camp.
Day 02: Gogona Gompa – Khotokha
A gentle climb leads to Shobjula (altitude 3, 500m) and then descends to a wide – open valley. Overnight in camp.
Day 03: Khotokha – Chuzomsa, or Wangdue via Nizergang
A short climb to the Tashila passes (altitude 2,800m). Walk down a long way through continuously changing vegetation into the lower valley till you reach the road head. Overnight at the Hotel in Punakha.
